Eathorpe Park sits on the edge of the Green Belt. With no Permitted Development Rights the proposal had to work with the sensitive development requirements. Through sympathetic use of matching traditional materials this proposal provides a subtle contemporary addition that does not compete with the main building. The client wanted to increase the ground floor reception accommodation as well as converting redundant single storey roof space into a third bedroom. The proposed garden room/dining area will connect fully with the garden when the full height bi-fold doors are opened and folded away discretely.
